BT and Hybrid live 02/07/2008
On Friday 18th July welcome not one, but two of the biggest names
in electronic dance music from down the years to do their thing in the amazing
surroundings of the Box at Ministry of Sound for yet another world class, cutting edge
Gallery. BT aka Brian Transeau as he’s known to his nearest and
dearest - is one of those once in a
generation musical magicians. BT’s just as comfortable behind a mixing desk
working on one of his critically acclaimed albums as he is laying vocals over
an epic trance track for friend Tiesto, or penning a film score for Hollywood
blockbusters such as ‘The Fast and the Furious.’ His albums have included
‘Movement in Still Life’, ‘10 years in the Life’, ‘Emotional Technology’ and
‘This Binary Universe’ whilst cult singles have included ‘Godspeed’, ‘Flaming
June’, ‘Blue Skies’, ‘Force of Gravity’.
He’s also provided guest vocals
himself on Tiesto’s ‘Love Comes Again’. Other notable film scores include ‘Zoolander’,
‘Lara Croft’, ‘Gone in Sixty Seconds’, ‘American Pie’, ‘Go’ and ‘Monster’ to
name but a few!!! This really is a rare opportunity to catch the man with the
laptops put in one of his trademark DJ sets on an exclusive visit to these
shores.
Hybrid have forged a reputation as leading producers
which have seen them collaborate with artists
such as New Order's Peter Hook, The Pretender's Chrissie Hynde and the 90-piece
Russian Federal Orchestra, as well as remixing over 40 artists including
Radiohead, Alanis Morissette, Carl Cox, BT, The Future Sound Of London and
Moby. Famed for classic cuts like ‘Finished Symphony’, the Hybrid duo return to
The Gallery for an exclusive main room DJ set and boy oh boy are we sure the
Box is in for a treat.
Tickets are selling fast already for this event so to avoid dissapointment head over to our outlets without delay and get yours sorted!

Members Party.. 02/07/2008
MARKUS SCHULZ
is crowned the Gallery’s New Resident
It’s been said this man is on his
way to the top, and as 2008 hits the half way mark, the top is exactly where
Markus Schulz is heading.
When the Gallery at Turnmills
closed back in March, Markus was one of those chosen to play in those memorable
final weeks. A few weeks later he was at the club’s new home at the Ministry of
Sound. Fast-forward a month and he’s the proud owner of a brand new residency
at the club he calls home.
“Honoured it not the word. I’ve
enjoyed playing the Gallery more than any other club in Europe
and it was so special at Turnmills. When I played at MOS – it blew me away. I’d
never imagined it would work so well in a new venue – incredible. I can’t wait
to play on July 11th, I think only then will I digest the fact I’m
officially part of the family”.
Danny Newman said: Having listened to feedback about his last
two shows and from always liking his stuff, Markus was a natural choice to
become the new resident. It’ll be great to see what he does on July 11th
and also at SW4 when he makes his debut there. Definitely one to watch!
Markus takes to the holy grail of
turntable on Friday 11th July for a specially extended 3 hour set at The Gallery's Free Members Party - double bonus for all our members!!
Win - DINNER with SCHULZ
Ever wondered what the table
manners of a world class DJ are really like? Wondered what goes well before a
big gig? Well you could find out as we offer one winner plus a mate the chance
to dine with Markus Schulz before his 3-hour set at the Gallery.
All you need to do is to answer
this simple question:
Markus named his record label
‘Coldharbour Recordings’. Why?
Answers to competitions@getinpr.com - closing
date is Wednesday 9th July

Hernan 4 hour set! 23/06/2008
The end of the month is here and having reached the half way mark of the
year we turn our attention to one of The Gallery family of DJs who consistently
move heaven and earth to turn out for us on a regular basis. We love each and
every one of them and this week – Friday 27th June - it’s the turn of Gallery favourite
and all round top bloke Hernan Cattaneo… who rolls into town to drop an
exclusive 4 Hour Set. Get in!
Ever since making his UK debut at The Gallery, Hernan has gone onto
become one of the world’s biggest and most respected DJs. Now a regular fixture
in DJ Mag’s Top 10 chart thingy, Hernan continues to support new talent with
his critically acclaimed Renaissance series and regular appearances at the world’s
leading festivals. It’s hard to believe his first UK gig ended up with him
sleeping on Gallery resident Steve Lee’s couch!!!
His recent Renaissance -
Sequential Vol. 2 mix compilation further proved his worth whilst he continues
to divide his time between the northern and southern hemisphere for half of the
year respectively we are delighted he continues to make time for us at The
Gallery.
Tickets are, as expected, flying out for this Friday's end of month big un!! Do not delay and head straight to one of the ticket outlets below to

Marco V 3 hour set 14/06/2008 With us here at The Gallery very much back into the swing
of things and now firmly settled in our fantastic new home that is Ministry of
Sound, Fridays have returned to the usual madness they should be. This being no
exception and what better way to stir it than invite Marco V to drop a 3 hour
set!!!
Marco is a firm favourite
here at The Gallery and still one of the leading names. Regularly pushing
boundaries especially here at The Gallery previous gigs have included his Combinations album launch party which
included 3 sets in 3 rooms, and playing behind a live visuals screen in the
main room. A regular provider of the extended set he is one of the few big DJs
who have the luxury of drawing upon a huge back catalogue of productions and a
far reaching record collection to do the damage.
Joining
the fray is production duo Remy & Klinkenberg, new boy on the block
Mr Marcus Schossow, ressies and all round legends Gavyn Mytchel and The
Viceroy whilst the bar plays host to Ashley Casselle, Tim Davison, Dale
Anderson and the baby box gets all in a twist with the Jeepers crew and
the lounge with Plastic Fondu....
Tickets are moving fast so to avoid dissapointment head asap to:
